As your new local MP, living in the heart of Taunton and Wellington, I am passionate about working for everyone in our community. Our recent campaign was one of the most successful for the Liberal Democrats, achieving a majority of 11,939 votes. The work has already begun, but to truly deliver for the people, I need a strong team around me.

Our County Town, Wellington, and all our villages are places to be proud of, but they deserve a fair deal. My priority is to secure the inward investment our area needs and supporting everyone that I can who comes to me for help. This includes investment in our local NHS hospital, in the GPs and dentists that are essential to our community, and in our infrastructure and public transport, such as the new station for Wellington. It also means investing in our schools, in training and job opportunities for our young people, and in remarkable cultural organisations that enrich our lives. Furthermore, I am committed to supporting our community and voluntary groups and to protecting our local environment, including efforts to clean up our beautiful River Tone.
